1/2 pkg Liviva Black Bean Spaghetti

¼ cup lemon juice

2 tbsp tamari

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 8 oz yellowfin tuna steak

½ cup cucumber

½ cup radishes

1 avocado

½ cup carrot

2 nori sheets

1 green onion

¼ cup cilantro

2 tbsp sesame seeds

1 lime


  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the lemon juice, tamari and sesame oil.
  3. Slice the tuna into bite-sized pieces and cover completely with the sauce. Let sit for 5 minutes, tossing halfway through so that the tuna is fully coated in sauce. The acidity of the lemon will slightly cook the tuna.
  4. Prepare your bowl. Fill the bottom with pasta. Add sliced cucumbers, radishes and avocado. Toss in some shredded carrot and nori. Sprinkle with diced green onions, cilantro and sesame seeds. Top with the tuna, a lime wedge and any additional tamari and sesame oil if desired. Serve right away.


To make leftovers, you can prepare the ingredients in advance but it’s recommended you purchase fresh sushi-grade tuna for each meal. Simply prep your sauce and add it to the tuna 5 minutes before you’d like to eat.
